HAVE FAITH                                           

When the road is an uphill climb
And the daily struggle gets to feeling too rough
Just keep going one step at a time
Grateful for the journey even though it is tough.

For it’s not the success that measures a man,
Nor taking the easy road at every turn.
The pitfalls along the way are part of God’s master plan
To help us appreciate, to grow, and to learn.

This life is a gift to cherish and treasure
You should embrace the challenges
Every step of the way,
Be thankful God loves us beyond measure.

Delight in your adversity
And the challenge that it brings.
For achieving the unreachable
Has turned shepherds into kings.

God gives us discipline,
As a loving Father teaches his sons
It builds character
And gives you strength to carry on,
To have faith in yourself,
Which was God’s plan all along.
