What's Your Biggest Challenge?

I hate to tell you this, you won't want to hear it, but your biggest challenge, is YOU! If you aren't happy doing what you're doing, you can blame it on all kinds of things, there's always plenty of excuses!! But in the end, it all comes down to you, and the choices you are making.

What was your goal to begin with? Did you ever have one? (I hope so, or else you're just aimlessly floating about...) Why was it important to you? Did you ever sit yourself down and think about it? Why not???

This is YOUR LIFE we are talking about!!! When it comes right down to it, there is nothing more important, to you!

You need to know what your "WHY" is. Are you working really, really hard to get to be the top person at your company? Are you working as hard as you can to get an education, get a degree, to certify yourself as accomplished in some area of expertise. Are you saving for a downpayment on a house, or saving for your retirement, or saving for a sports car? Great, that, whatever it is, that is what you shooting for, your Goal. But why?? What for?

If you make the promotion, what will happen, why is that important? If you buy the house, what will happen, why is that important? If you get the degree, what will happen, why is that important, if you get that sports car, what will happen, why is that important?? You need to think about it, visualize it happening, imagine it is here in your life now!!! What happened, and why is that important to you???

You need to know yourself, your "why". This is the underlying drive that moves you to proceed forward, gets you over the hurdles, through the tough times, keeps you on track, keeps you going. If you don't know what your "why" is, then you're going to crumble when the world throws obstacles at you.

No one succeeds all the time, at everything they do. We all have failures. What matters, is what you do when you have those moments of failure. Because, if you realize, that's what they are, moments, one event, not you, not your whole existance, then you can dust yourself off and keep going.

You need to keep your priorities focused. Keep your eyes on your goal, and your "why" in your heart. Learn to "forget what you need to forget". Don't beat yourself up! (Besides, you'll probably get another chance!) We're not perfect, and we never will be!! And we can't afford to try. You'll waste a lot of valuable energy, and bring yourself down, trying to be perfect. There was only one Perfect Person in the world... So, forgive yourself your mistakes, and move on!

Dreambuild as much as possible. What is "dreambuilding"? See it, touch it, feel it! If what you want is a car, go to the car lots every chance you get, look at them, test drive them, get brochures, hang a picture on the mirror in the bathroom where you'll see it everyday! If it's a goal with your job, picture yourself at that point already. Will you have a bigger office? A raise? It sounds silly, but it works! Go pick out furniture for your new office. Design a new business card for your new position. What will you do with the extra money? Go to the mall and look at something you will buy with your bonus! Surround yourself with images that for you, symbolizes the completion of your personal goal. I knew one woman who desperately wanted children, and hung pictures of babies on her refrigerator! (now she has four kids!)

So, DREAMBUILD - as much as possible - take "it" out and look at "it" as much as possible! Put it in your heart - keep it in focus - visualize it - if you don't keep it right in front of you, and hold it close to your heart, one day you'll realize that it slipped through your fingers!

You can give yourself faith, you can build belief in yourself! That's your biggest challenge!! Not to actually do the task, but to believe that you CAN! Build faith, build belief - say that positive affirmation out loud to yourself - "I can do this" - "Today will be a successful day" - "It will be alright" - "I will succeed" - whatever works for you... but remember, as Yoda said, "Try?? There is no "try", there is only 'do', or 'not do'!" So, never tell yourself to "try", tell yourself to "DO"!! Change your thinking, and you'll change your life!!

Success is, then, a decision, and an attitude, and the habits that you form. It's all about your Dreams! Not "their" agenda! Go out and be different! Being "equal" is being "average", and your greatest enemy is "average". You don't want to be "average", you want your Dreams, you want your success, you want to make it all the way to the top of that mountain! It's not where you are now that you should be looking at, but where you want to be! Where you are going to be!

We are all successes to one degree or another, every day! Remember that! Ever have someone tell you, "you can't do that!!!" Well - the "facts" don't count when a real winner makes a decision. If the Dream is big enough, the "facts" don't count!!

You've got to motivate yourself, no one can do it for you - grab ahold of yourself, just get a grip, and get on with your life, remember what "it" was that first got you excited about your Dream, then remember it every day!

Don't set a limit on yourself, because then you set a limit on God!

PAIN IS INEVITABLE - MISERY IS OPTIONAL !!!

It's easier:

It's going to be hard, maybe the hardest thing you ever did before,
but don't do it to yourself, don't take the easy way out!
You deserve better!
